Wild In The Streets Les Baxter Tower SKAO 5099, 1969
Wild In The Streets album cover

Luckily not too much Mike Curb input on this one - it's mostly a Les Baxter affair, so there's plenty of big beats, some sitar moments and a good organ track. Look out for the wacky 'Psychedelic Senate', with reverbed background voices and organ, and the groovy Wild In The Streets theme.

Overall Rating: 3

Track listing:

Love to be your man | Free lovin' | Fifty two per cent | Shape of things to come | Psychedelic senate | Fourteen or fight | Wild in the streets | Listen to the music | Sally Le Roy | Shelly in camp |
