The late Denny Vaughn composed this soundtrack, one of his final works, having run one of Canada's best big bands for over thirty years. He moved to LA towards the end of his life to get involved in TV and film work, and sadly died shortly after completing this album. The film was never released, but a few promotional copies of the soundtrack were pressed, and it's a good thing that they were, because there are some cracking groovy numbers on here. The rest of the music is orchestral, soft rock or loungey in feel (in keeping with the movie's subject), but there are two killer dancefloor numbers on here, with loud drums, big guitar and some great organ work. Needle Rock and Ride Home Rock are the ones to watch for. Recommended.
