Baby Maker, The Fred Karlin Ode SP-77002, 1970
Baby Maker, The album cover

This soundtrack, by Fred Karlin, features music by Ole Blue, and is mainly pretty dull country-tinged background music. Bizarrely there are two hard fuzz guitar groovers that don't fit with the rest of the LP at all! 'Lotus baby pant'n mantra blues' is a really tight uptempo tune with organ, while 'Blue paint' is a midtempo fuzz guitar and drums feature. Surprising!

Overall Rating: 3
