Girl On A Motorcycle, The Les Reed Tetragrammaton Records T-5000, 1968
Girl On A Motorcycle, The album cover

If there's one really well-known classic 60s biker movie soundtrack, it's this one - Les Reed's great score to Girl On A Motorcycle, with Marianne Faithfull and Alain Delon. We've chosen to highlight the less well known US release, with different cover art from the original UK issue. The music is classic 1960s go-go in style, uptempo and groovy when it really gets going, and sentimental and trashy elsewhere. Best tracks are the outstanding dancefloor squealers 'Big bare beat' and 'Take me to my lover'. Recommended - as you probably already know.

Overall Rating: 4
