Soul Of Nigger Charley, The Don Costa Orchestra MGM 1SE-46ST, 1973
Soul Of Nigger Charley, The album cover

This might be expected to be an uninspired easy listening album considering the featured artists. Don't make that mistake. It's a great funk album with a Western feel featuring a superb wah guitar theme and strong performances from Lou Rawls.

Overall Rating: 4
