Slender Thread, The

Quincy Jones was just beginning to make his mark in the soundtrack industry when he scored this Anne Bancroft and Sidney Poitier movie. The music is played by a strong, tight orchestra with a number of great jazz players. The majority of the tracks are great 1960s jazz, dark and majestic. Watch out for the great easy listening groove track 'Big Sir' at the end of the LP.
