You Only Love Once album cover

An obscure score that only saw releases in the USA, France and Spain, this album is orchestral 1960s French-style pop and easy listening in feel. The instrumentation is interesting; Loussier uses a heavy backbeat overlaid with percussion and Moog to create a strange, unnerving sound in places. Try 'Clara's Jerk' for an example of dancefloor-friendly oddball soundtrack Frenchness? hard to describe!
