Another average biker flick soundtrack? With Tammy Wynette? Gotta be a snoozer. Hmmm, what's that track called? Friendly Fuzz? Gotta be worth a spin... and so it proved to be. Two good, weird, funky instrumentals on here. The first, Rescue, is a jazzy fluke funker which is quite bizarre - it has a stop/start jumpy feel but is damn groovy. The second, Friendly Fuzz, is fuzz guitar breaks track. Both from the Pierre Henry school of weird soundtrack funk. The rest of the album contains rock numbers and country tunes plus a couple of slower background music pieces. Definitely worth a spin for Rescue alone. It's also worth noting that - for the first time ever on a funky soundtrack - the cut 'Get it on' is not funky!
