Kazablan Dov Seltzer MGM 1-SE-48ST, 1973
Kazablan album cover

Now you know we've been tipping you on those weird rock musical scores from the early 1970s? You probably haven't been paying too much attention, right? Well, think again. This one's a killer - three top-drawer funk instrumentals tucked away on an otherwise unremarkable musical score. Check out the beats, Rhodes, flute and bass on Chassidic Rock and Construction Rock Ballet. Obscure, yes, but currently slept on and not the hardest-to-find record in the crates so get busy! Big up The Vert for a tip on this one.

Overall Rating: 3
