Marcia Trionfale Nicola Piovani Beat LPF 032, 1976
Marcia Trionfale album cover

This obscure B-movie soundtrack was issued by Beat in Italy and the UK but is a hard one to find. Piovani is not a particularly well-known composer by funk soundtrack standards, but he really lays it down with the superb, mad instrumental 'Pizzapop'. It has a great catchy piano riff and is backed up by big drums - a winner! Pity the rest of the score is uneven, but highly recommended for that crazy dancefloor winner. The sort of crazy tune that could only come out of Italy.

Overall Rating: 4
