Laurie Johnson wrote several outstanding British TV themes during the 1960s and 1970s. This LP showcases some of his most famous and exciting work. One side of the album contains material from The Avengers and The New Avengers, while the second side is taken up with the much funkier Professionals score. Much of the incidental music to The Professionals is slow, atmospheric funk with a British sound similar to Bullet's The Hanged Man. The album was issued in limited quantities on a small UK label and is now hard to find.
