Hot Rock,The Quincy Jones Prophesy SD 6055, 1972
Hot Rock,The album cover

One of Quincy Jones' more experimental scores. Not particularly successful, this album is a mix of styles that don't sit well together. Jones experiments with electronics not often used elsewehere in his scores. The best groovy moment is the 'Hot Rock Theme'.

Overall Rating: 3
