Midnight Cowboy John Barry United Artists UAS 5198, 1968
Midnight Cowboy album cover

One of the 60s classic soundtracks, now available on CD. Everyone knows the enormous Nilsson hit 'Everybody's Talkin' At Me', but don't let that put you off. The rest of the album is an eclectic mix of psychedelic funky rock 'Jungle Gym At The Zoo', funky soul 'He Quit Me', jazz, and the classic main theme. If you don't have this album already, you should have. Not a killer dancefloor LP but essential listening anyway.

Overall Rating: 4
