Sweden Heaven And Hell Piero Umiliani Ariel ARS 15000, 1968
Sweden Heaven And Hell album cover

One of the best-known groovy scores, thanks entirely to the Muppet Show. Yes, the kids' favorite 'Mah-na Mah-na' actually originated on this, the soundtrack to a 'progressive' (ie. sexploitation) movie ostensibly about Swedish youth! Worth finding for that track alone, the rest of the album is pretty damn good easy listening too. Watch out for the CD reissue as it includes twice as much music as the original LP release (shown here).

Overall Rating: 4
