All The Loving Couples

Music by 'Casanova', eh? Les Baxter more like, although uncredited on the sleeve. A production taken from the 'best-selling novel', this album is similar in feel but less groovy than the Quincy Jones rescore of The Adventurers. Side 1 showcases some standard 60s groovy numbers that were 'intended for broadcast' while the much better Side 2 includes about 20 short beaty numbers that were 'not for broadcast' and have no track titles. If you dig Baxter's late 60s work and like small group 60s beaty groove tunes, you'll like this, but it's a little uninspired.
