Z Mikis Theodorakis Columbia OS 3370, 1968
Z album cover

OK, so this may not be hard to find, but that's not to say that there aren't any good tracks on it. Anyone who is a fan of Jean-Jacques Perry or Pierre Henry should add this to their collection. There's one superb fuzz guitar and bells groovy cut called 'Cafe Rock' that merits the price of the record alone. If you're interested, there is some sampleable material on the rest of the LP, but it's mostly a mix of strings, Greek ethnic instrumentals and heavy martial pieces.

Overall Rating: 3
