Viva Max! Hugo Montenegro RCA LSP-4275, 1970
Viva Max! album cover

This soundtrack is taken from a hit comedy movie, so you know roughly what to expect, some tongue-in-cheek brassy numbers. True to form, there's plenty of jazzy breeziness here, but also a few harder cuts, like the groovy hard breakbeat track 'Sentries charge'. Easy to find, so it's worth buying cheap.

Overall Rating: 3
