Schifrin's 45-only funk soundtrack masterpiece, Ape Shuffle, is taken from the main theme to the original Planet Of The Apes TV series as aired in 1974. The flip side of the single features the funky theme from the first episode of the series. Ape Shuffle is an awesome piece of soundtrack funk, notable for killer snappy drums, menacing big band horns and an extraordinary ape impression vocal - highly recommended!
