Leon Ware colloborated with Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson on this score to a socially aware and well respected film for its time. If you like Leon Ware's smooth soul sound you'll enjoy this album. The best funk moment is to be found on "The Rumble", a strong orchestral funk track.
