Naked Angels Jeffrey Simmons Straight Records SLS 1056, 1969
Naked Angels album cover

Sometimes you'll find a biker soundtrack that's a little different from the run-of-the-mill rock scores that generally sit behind any LP with a Harley on the sleeve. This is one such album. The music on here comprises small group funky rock, with massive, loud drums, squealing overdriven guitar and big organ. The pace and dynamics of the music vary from track to track, and there are several good cuts on here, from slower contemplative numbers to fast, funky jams. Pretty good and worth a listen!

Overall Rating: 3
