No.1 Of The Secret Service Simon Bell Pye 7N 46050, 1978
No.1 Of The Secret Service album cover

A completely obscure release from an equally obscure UK cult exploitation spy movie, this 45 is a pretty run-of-the-mill mid-70s rocky tune with a nod to funk and disco. The cheesy accented vocal has sufficient attitude to make it listenable and it kind of grows on you. The flip is a straightforward strings-disco cut.

Overall Rating: 3
