Piedone Lo Sbirro Guido and Maurizio De Angelis Cinevox MDF 33/70, 1974
Piedone Lo Sbirro album cover

Regular visitors to this site will know that we're fans of the great big band jazzy soundtracks of the De Angelis brothers, who had major chart success in Europe with Oliver Onions. This album is a really strong contender for their best funky soundtrack yet, as at least half of the numbers on here are tight, well-recorded Italian mid-70s jazz-funk. 'Nuff said, highly recommended! Great stuff!

Overall Rating: 4
