Car Crash Mario & Giosy Capuano Mercury 6492 420, 1978
Car Crash album cover

The only thing that might initially catch your eye on this obscure Italian release is the name of one of the stars: Joey Travolta. John's brother got involved in several Italian and American B-movie projects after his brother's success, most of which disappeared without trace. The music on this album is mainly up- and mid-tempo disco-funk, so don't pick it up expecting an old school wah bomb. If you're looking for great dancefloor late 70s music, look no further than the killer seven-minute 'Shampoo' - excellent.

Overall Rating: 4
